The Shack by William Paul Young
Description: A grieving father receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him to meet in the Oregon wilderness where his daughter has been abducted and murdered. In a world where religion seems to grow increasingly irrelevant, "The Shack" wrestles with the timeless question, "Where is God in a world so filled with unspeakable pain?"
Fellow book club reader Alicia was kind enough to select our book for this month. I think we can all agree that there are lots of questions and controversy when it comes to God. I am looking forward to this book, and the discussions we have while reading it. Thanks, Al!
Also, keep in mind that we are always looking for new material. We appreciate all suggestions. I, for one, am really enjoying the variety we've had so far. That's exactly what we were looking for when we came up with this idea. Please be sure to email me if you have a book for us to read.
Happy Reading!

This is hilarious! My mother-in-law gave me this book over the weekend and was like YOU-HAVE-TO-READ-THIS-BOOK-IT-IS-AMAZING! I've heard the same from several other people. Everyone that I've talked to about it says they busted out crying while reading it! My husband and I started reading it aloud and so far it is great.
